A research by Employment Hero has revealed that 72 per cent of young Malaysian employees are considering leaving the country for better employment opportunities. Some choose to go to Singapore where SGD is 3 times of MYR. Or probably even further like Australia?
A Malaysian man in his 30, Razlan Razali told 《Sinar Harian》his personal experience. He been working in Australia for more than 6 months and his monthly pay is up to RM43,000!
He added although he need to leave his homeland. But relatively the process is effective and easier.
「In Australia, we have 2 kind of selection on pay. First, hourly pay and second contract base. They don’t really bother whether i have high education level or working experience, as long as I’m willing to work.」
Razlan chose to be a contract staff. He is a deliveryman where the amount of pay reflected by the number of parcel he send.
「Averagely, i’m earning AUS 8,000（around RM24,880）to AUS14,000（around RM43,540). This is why i rather work in Australia than in Malaysia.」

Razlan and his wife currently residing in Australia. Beside the high pay he also mentioned the culture and public security is much better. It’s also part of the reason when they decided to stay in Australia.
Some said living cost in Australia is higher, but he thinks: 「Although price for goods hike but they will have salary increment too. So i don’t feel the stress.」
