Started from March this year, our government announced PerantiSiswa programme where free tablets will be provided to B40 students studying in institutions of higher learning. But still many students who are eligible to apply drop the idea as they do not know how to apply for it..
Actually it’s not that complicated! A University student took XiaoHongShu to share her experience how to apply for the Free tablet through PerantiSiswa Keluarga Malaysia!

Let’s check out how to apply for the free tablet from the Government! ( Vol 1)
▼ Step 1：Search for “Perantisiswa”，click on the first link（Website：【Click here】）。
▼ Step 2：Scroll to the bottom，click “Memohon”(Application).
▼ Step 3：Fill in the information，then click” Hantar ” (Submit) will do～
▼ Step 4：wait for the email to activate your account.
▼ Step 5：log in to fill in the necessary information.

Q1：Didn’t receive email？
A1：Please be patient, as i had been waiting for the e-mail for 7 hours.
Q2：Who are eligible to apply？
A2：Students in Form 6 , Matriculation，and those waiting for their admission to University.
Q3：Can students in private university apply？(IPTS)
A3：Can, but only certain school. Basically, most of college are in the lists, and some university.
Q4：What to fill in for “Cawangan” ( branch) ？
A4：I never filled in, but the system selected PPUM for me.
Q5：Can secondary students apply for it?
A5：No
Q6：Why always got error on the portal?
A6：Maybe you can try to refresh for a few times.
Q7：What is the criteria for password?
A7：12 letters，including capital letter, small letter, number and a symbol. ( not too complicated!)
Please ensure you get your password right! Or else you will not be able to log in. Lastly, wish you a successful application.

▼ Q: After i filled in all the information. The system asked me to wait for the email to activate the account. Are you the same? but i didn’t receive any e-mail.
A: I think a lot of people applying.
Q: I applied. Received e-mail and click on the activate account button. But after log in, it said my account not activated. What should i do?
A: You should click on the activate account for few more times.
