Price hike for essential commodities over the past few months have made life difficult for almost every section of the society across the country, where people finding it hard to manage their household budget.
A single mother took social media to vent, she will need to save on everything and left nothing for her saving. But her monthly expenses for 2 already close to RM5,000, even to buy a new clothes is too lavish for her.. sigh~
The post read:
The monthly expenses for both me and my daughter, it’s not including expenses to dine out, and not including saving and i can’t afford any emergency cases. Even buying new clothes is too lavish for me??
My expenses is so much higher after the divorce. My daughter is growing up, we will need to improve our quality of life somehow. No one know what kind of hardship i went through this year. That’s why i always said i can’t even afford to go out, can’t afford to fall sick but only making money every day.
I’m always the one with no goal in life, no desire to shop. But after having a child, i knew how important is to make money. I was thinking to give her a lot. I knew even in our generation to own a car or a house is not easy, not to say their generation.
As a single mum, i don’t have much negative thoughts. Not much times to think about myself too. I believe working hard and earn more money is the only way to change our life.
P/S:I don’t know why so many netizen interested to know details of my expenses? I’m currently staying with my parents 5 adults and 2 kids, electricity bills around RM1200 per month, i will need to lighten the family burden, while water bills is around RM100 per month.
I drove a cheap car, it’s just i wanted to pay more monthly to shorten the period of the loan repayment.
▼ Some parents commented:” I dare not even do the math on my expenses.”,” Even i’m not eating or drinking. To raise 3 kids, i need at least RM15k a month. My 4th kid is coming, by the time even my panties broken i will still need to wear it.”
▼One said: Me slightly better, my fixed expenses: house loan = RM2500, utility bills = RM250, Insurance = RM200, petrol = RM200. But no celebration on Chinese New Year, any festive or even birthday for more than 20 years. I’m thinking saving more money for retirement is more important.
▼ However some netizen bashing her : ” Don’t turn on air-cond can save a lot of money.”, ” Sell off your car, don’t pay the insurance. Keep the money in the bank. Why don’t you use a fan.Look at me, just with 3 fans. Don’t use air-cond. Learn from the ancient people then you will have more money to spend.”
Post author : Ya ya.. Go with the flow! When parents died no need to bother about the kids. Please use your brain when you talk. If you want to be ancient people why looking at the Facebook?? You should go get water in the well.
Netizen: Keyboard warrior, if you are not going through the same life experience like her, please do not bashed her!
▼ Hang in there! Actually the amount of money quite reasonable for parent with kid. Some expenses you would rather spare more. So in actual, if you have extra can buy yourself and your kid a meal! You will need to live a life too!
