A 35-year-old plastic packaging of instant noodle, still looks the same?!
Recently a group of pictures were widely shared and discussed online, a netizen found a Maggi instant noodle plastic packaging with expiry dated 1988 at the beach. It was opened without the noodle and seasoning pack, but the plastic is still in a perfectly good condition!
How do we know this plastic packaging aged 35? As on the packaging it’s written 「Guna sebelum 28.05.88」( Best before 28.05.88)
Expiry date on May 28, 1988, but the packaging is still in a good condition, NO sign of decomposing. The post raise awareness on the environmental protection.
Some commented in the Tweet : ” Hopefully scientist will have solution to decompose plastic soon. Although currently we have a bug to decompose plastic, but unfortunately it’s not that common yet.”
Some eagle-eye netizen spotted the free gift on the packaging was amazed as those days buying instant noodle can get free cutlery set. ” What ? those days Maggi got free cutlery ? My god, please bring it back.”
