Terrible tenants can make your job as a landlord tough. Some of them pay rent late every month, while others are careless and damage your property.
A real estate agent, Ija took social media to share a terrible experience of her client. Beside the overdue rental, the tenant also left the house with heaps of rubbish and an awful stench.

The tenant running away without settling the rent which was overdue.
The property was badly damaged, especially the bathroom, plumbing pipes, furniture and even the doors. The house was in an appalling state with a revolting stench.

▼ Netizen: I filed a report against the tenant and asking for compensation of RM50k. The house was filthy and damaged. I rented it out to someone else, breach the contract. The case was dragged for 2 years ++. But the final court decision was either the tenant pay RM22k or jailed. Ended up, the tenant appealed to ask to instalment. Just sharing my experience.
