Cheesecake lovers, other than Burnt Cheesecake now we have another viral recipe which is Japanese Cotton Cheese Cake, that shared from a netizen lately.
A Malaysian netizen, Liow shared her recipe of making Japanese cotton cheese cake on Facebook. OMG .. how to resist a tasty and fluffy cheesecake and the fact is you can do it at home, with on 5 simple steps..
- Cream cheese: 250g
- Fresh milk: 200ml
- Butter : 120g
- Egg yolks: 5
- Plain flour: 60g
- Corn flour: 30g
- Eggs: 5
- Icing sugar: 100g-150g
- Tartar powder: (optional)
Step 1: Mix all the Ingredients A together and let it melt over a warm water bath. Stir the mixture until it is well-mixed and smooth.
Step 2: Add the plain flour and the corn flour(Ingredients B) into the mixture and keep mixing. After that, add the egg yolk one by one and mix well. *Sift the plain flour and the corn flour before adding.
Step 3: On the other hand, beat Ingredients C until stiff peak foams. Then, add 1/3 of Ingredients C mixture into the mixture which made just now. While mixing, continue to add the remaining mixture and well-conbined.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into an 8-inch round cake pan. Bake with 130°C for 90 minutes. Place a pan with water and refill the water while baking the cake.
Step 5: After baking, turn off the oven and leave the door slightly open. Let it cool for 15 minutes then remove from the oven. Japanese cotton cheese cake is DONE!
