We have heard about a case where people being fined for not wearing mask in the car. Even though people are being refunded but the netizens urged the authorities to have proper guidelines to prevent any more confusion.
So, these are the places where you are mandatory to wear a mask starting from 1 August under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department Deputy Director (Investigation / Legislation), Deputy Commissioner Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said this in order to give a complete answer to the public regarding confusion on the matter. It also said that any public individual who violates the rules under the Act will only be subject to RM1,000 fines.
