Selangor Police Deny Allegations of Female Officer Who Tests Positive Violating Home Quarantine Order

Police have denied allegations of it’s female officer from Puchong Utama, Selangor who returned from Sabah violating home quarantine order.

This is in response to viral post in Facebook, regarding a female police officer that went grocery shopping in AEON Big hypermarket, Puchong Utama during the home quarantine.

Selangor deputy police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed told media, the officer who tested positive for Covid-19 went back to Semporna, Sabah for a vacation since Sep 9 and only returning to Selangor after voting in the Sabah state election on Sep 26.

He stressed that the said officer did complied to Ministry of Health ( MOH) order to do home quarantine since Sep 27 for 14 days.

” The viral post on social media, saying the female police officer violating home quarantine order and went AEON Big, Puchong Utama for grocery shopping is untrue.” Datuk Arjunaidi said.

He also urged public not to spread rumours and create insecurities in community.
