Auntie Can’t Stand Her Husband “Go Dutch” Culture, Leaving Home & On Road Trip For 2 Months

“Go Dutch” or mostly called “AA” in Asia- a culture where two or a group of people sharing the cost of something, especially a meal, equally. This normally happened on students, or friends that just started to work. Your rarely see it happened on husband and wife.

But somehow, this 56-year-old auntie named Madam Su from Henan, China not satisfied with how the husband treating her. They are on ” AA” culture since they got married and yet she is the only one that taking care the house chores. After planning for 1 year, she decided to leave home and goes on a road trip. She travelled to 13 places in 2 months and planning to do more.

Madam Su told media, she and the husband are like living in a different world. She used to work, taking care of the husband and daughter daily life, as well as all the house chores. Yet, financially they are on ” AA” culture -splitting cost for everything. Even she drove the car and paying toll using his touch n’ go card. He will collect the toll payment from her, even it’s only a few ringgit.

But the husband is not stingy to himself, he will spend money on the things he like but she felt he is just too calculative to her.Thus, she spend a year to learn survival skills, knowledge on how to travel on the road, she do a lot research where and when to travel to certain places.

Her daughter supported her decision, sponsored her mother RMB 30,000 ( RM18,690) to buy a car. Madam Su also start recorded video and uploaded in social media since she started her road trip. Since then, she gain a lot of followers, mostly amazed at her courage.

“Instead of feeling sad, depressed and not satisfied with my current life, i felt stepping out from home and go on road trip is a right decision. I’m feeling better and more contented now. I hope the married woman out there also can take care their own feeling, follow their heart and do something they like,” she told her fans.
