Most company will dispose merchandises they wrongly print especially those with important information like company name, email or website. But NOT .. IKEA Singapore.

IKEA Singapore misprinted probably hundred of re-usable bags with a wrong website address. Their website suppose to be “www.ikea.com.sg” but the recycle bags were printed with a missing letter “www.ikea.co.sg”.

A netizen shared a photo on social media, those bags are on the sale for SGD 1.90 ( RM 5.80). The Swedish furniture store candidly acknowledging the mistake and said ” ALAMAK!”

The message read :

KLAMBY. LIMITED UNIQUE ALAMAK…

At IKEA it’s OK to make a mistake.

We printed the wrong website address on the KLAMBY re-usable bag but because it’s re-usable we won’t scrap them.

They’re limited edition and they won’t be back.

IKEA also selling it in their online store. They did a normal photoshoot with the wrongly printed re-usable bag. However, there was no description on it’s online store.

Anyhow, I kind of agreed with what IKEA did. Sometimes we can’t avoid human error but instead of scrapping them which cause wastage and not environmental friendly. I don’t mind getting one though~~ What about you?
