Almost every Malaysians’ smart phone are with a shopping app, which is Shopee! You can get almost everything in Shopee~ Especially during the pandemic, we hardly get away from shopping online in order to us safe from the deadly virus!
What about working in Shopee? I believe most of you will be curious too!
Lately, a girl took social media to share her feeling and experience working in Shopee. Her post went viral! she then followed up with another post on some tips to succeed the interview! She shared with her bestie and she got an offer in Shopee too!

Time flies, it’s been more than 6 months that me working in Shopee! I’m going to share with you some insights…
My first impression: Gosh, it’s a big company! A lot of staff, very well equipped office, i like especially the pantry.
① Heavy work load
Especially during the Shopee sale-day like 11.11 or 12.12, sometimes we are required to work over time even on weekend!
② Great working environment
I’m lucky to have friendly work mate and they are willing to help the newbie like me. Thus, it’s an enjoyable working environment!
③ Office in strategic location
My office is just right opposite mid valley. So, it’s convenient in terms of transportation as well as option for lunch!
④ Attire at work
We have freedom to choose our clothing. Be it, casual, formal or trendy!
⑤ Remuneration
I think most people are curious about this～
Personally i think Shopee pay is slightly higher than market rate, what i mean is for fresh graduate.

My interview was in 2 stages ( 1 to 1):
The first round: HR Call for interview ( screening process):
HR questions will be more common. For. e.g previous work experience, why applying for this position, why wanted a job in Shopee and so on.
Some with case study too ( depends on HR and position you are applying)
The interview process was roughly about 20 minutes.

The second round will be the interview with the team lead:
Team lead questions will be more chill ( i personally think).
More to understand my previous work experience, my personality, the way i handled things or pressure and so on.
Tricky question：Why should I NOT HIRE you ~
The interview was about 35 minutes.
I’m so lucky as i got the job offer on the spot!

If you wanted to give it a try, please take note of Shopee competitor promotion activities as well as Shopee promotion activities.
Impress the interviewer, and show them you really wanted to the job.
Express your idea and personal opinion. Remember, it’s important to express yourself.
Be confident.
It’s quite competitive to get in Shopee, so please get yourself well-prepared~

Lastly, please get your resume ready ~neat & tidy. Chances of been selected by HR will be higher.
