A netizen, Ang took social media to share a heart-wrenching story, where a man was found searching for food in his rubbish bin in the middle of the night.
His post read:
In the middle of the night, Jacky (Ang’s dog) barked. We found a man looking for food in the rubbish bin. He should be looking for take away food container. Maybe remaining of the KFC box like fries or some chicken. Or some remaining rice or vegetable/meat in other take away food container. He end up took a few plastic bags before leaving.
I remembered the last time a Chinese couple also looking for food in the rubbish bin. They don’t dare to come in the morning but only in the middle of the night. I guess they must be feeling shamed of doing so. It’s heart-breaking! seeing them coming to the extend to look for food in the rubbish bin.
▼ In the middle of the night, a man in white t-shirt took the plastic bags out from the rubbish bin in a residential area.
▼He end up picked 2 bags of rubbish and leaving the place.

▼ Ang who shared the post in social media then added he drove out to chase the man, then man said he found some expired biscuit in the rubbish bin. After spoke to the man, Ang found him not some drug addict. He looked sincere and honest. He didn’t steal or do anything but just looking for some food. After that, Ang went home took some more biscuits and drove to look for him again at 3.30am. He then gave the man some cash too.

▼ ” Some people trying their best earning for 3 meals, some ordering take away food at home everyday, some need to cut down most expenses. But still some were queuing to buy McD x BTS meals.

▼ One suggested government should have food banks nationwide. So, at least people in need really get something at least some food. In the same time also giving some businesses to food services operator.
