Another new trap from the scammer — watching FB Live to get RM1000 ?!?!

Cyber Crime Alert Royal Malaysia Police posted on it’s social media page to alert public that scammers been actively invite netizen to watch Live stream to win up to RM1000 of cash prize!

The post read: 

WATCH OUT! Scammer phishing personal information and banking people using fake social media accounts.
Don’t be easily fooled by easy prize offers. Please do a search on the internet or social media before proceeding anything with them.
And most importantly, DO NOT disclose your passwords and banking information to anyone.

The authority also sharing us the way to report them in the social media.

▼  Netizen asking the admin of the police authority social media page. ” Other than ignoring the message, what else we can do to avoid other people from falling into the trap? where can we lodge a report? ”
